THE CAREFREEE COMUNITY

THE ROACHES

Three young men posing together against a plain white background. The man on the left wears glasses, a white shirt, and a colorful jacket, holding a green bottle. The middle man has dreadlocks, a red hat, and headphones around his neck, with arms crossed. The man on the right wears glasses, an orange knit hat with pom-poms, and a white shirt, holding a small yellow container.

Each member brings their own flavor. 13 SANTANA delivers with raw hunger and heavy bars, MARTY SMILES cuts through with emotion and charisma, and BE LIKE TRACY ties it all together with unique style and versatile flows. When they come together, the chemistry is undeniable, a mix of voices that crash and blend into something bigger than the sum of its parts.

The Roaches are a rap and R&B collective out of Milwaukee made up of 13 SANTANA, MARTY SMILES, and BE LIKE TRACY. Built on brotherhood, late nights, and the grind to turn nothing into something, their sound flips from heavy bars to smooth hooks, carrying the same energy they grew up on—raw, unfiltered, and built to last. They’re survivors in every sense, turning basements and block corners into stages and making music that refuses to be ignored.

The Roaches aren’t chasing trends. They’re building a movement, one track at a time, ready to take Milwaukee’s sound way past city limits.

BRETT SEKOYA

A man posing with a butterfly shirt, beige pants, and a trucker hat in front of a plain backdrop.

Brett Sekoya is a mood architect. His AURA video (released just recently) drifts through visuals with cinematic ease-intimate shots, tight framing, and a performance that leans into haze and clarity at once, The track itself, featured on his album CLOUD X (dropped November 1, 2024), blends atmospheric R&B with lucid rap - a soundscape that feels like fog settling in at dusk, both dreamy and grounded.

Sekoya’s vibe thrives in the in-between: melodic yet gritty, moody but still magnetic. Whether he's alone on the track or bringing The Roaches lineup (like on AURA with 13 SANTANA, Marty Smilez, BeLike Tracy, and others), he brings depth that sticks. It’s music you sink into, music you feel.

DEEZY

A man with a beard, glasses, and tattoos on his left arm stands on a sidewalk with colorful street art and green trees in the background. He wears a black cap, a white t-shirt with colorful letters, black pants, and white sneakers.

DEEZY is the manager and driving force behind Carefreee and The Roaches. More than just the guy behind the scenes, he’s the one holding the vision together-keeping the music moving, the brand growing, and the crew locked in. While he only jumps on a few tracks, his presence is always felt, making sure the sound stays true and the team keeps leveling up.

Beyond the music, DEEZY is also a voice on the Carefreee podcast, where he and the rest of The Roaches let fans tap into their world outside the booth. It’s another outlet where the brotherhood and creativity shine, giving supporters a deeper connection to the movement.
